OIL PAINTINGS...

I  started to experiment with oil colors for first time in my class X.  That time I had no knowledge of how to use those colors nor that linseed oil or turpentine. Just felt like trying out....I thought ok, let me try something and not to wory about the result. I was satisfied with it....so I was very happy...Here it is...

Only oil colors, little kerosene , an oil sheet made this whole thing, and of course my passion for painting flowers...

First Team Project

Masha , the first animated short (2d) I've ever worked on. Very glad to be a part of the team. I got an oppurtunity to work in this project in 1st semester of my Bsc Animation.
This short mainly depicts how terrorism is a threat to common people, shattering their happiness in life..

Masha from Rupalee Mathur on Vimeo.

I was in the ''Digital Inking'','' coloring'',''Backgrounds touch up'' departments of this movie.

Masha, a innocent sweet happy little shepherd girl of Kashmir. One fine day, early in the morning she takes her 4 sheep for a walk, she also has a lovely little lamb with her. She takes them into the woods...she is happy and glad, for she is surrounded by beautiful nature. She is delighted...all her happiness is depicted through her actions, she seems to be the best nature lover ever on this earth.
Suddenly she is disturbed by a loud, scary sound. She runs to the cliff of the mountain and looks down. All her happiness is shattered at once.....A traumatic incident that happens there results in Masha loosing her voice.........

My Artworks

This flowers are one of my favourites and I enjoyed painting it a lot, now doing it in digital medium.

This being one of my pass time works, which I did on the cover of my physics study material turned out to be good enough that I think I can show it to you here.....
Of course many of my note books and text books had designs, drawings and shadings all over...could not help it though...
All my works are generally inspired by nature, even the concept sketches
This was my first attempt with acrylics...
Loved to work with the charcoal

Inspired by the ancient architectural skills of Indian artistes
